James Schwartz

James Schwartz has been licensed to practice law for 45 years and attended McGeorge School of Law, University of the Pacific. He became a practicing lawyer in 1976.He was the founder of the Law Offices of James G. Schwartz PC and worked there for 33 years before joining the Law Offices of Stephen M. Fuerch as, Of Counsel, in 2020.

He has handled cases, from incorporating new companies to litigating mulita-million-dollar disputes involving breach of contracts to inter-company shareholder and partner disputes. He has represented companies of all sizes, from single person sole proprietorships to mid-sized and larger companies.

He has represented clients from all Bay Area counties, as well as other clients from all over California and from other States having legal work in California. He has also represented multi-national corporations. Besides incorporations he has drafted hundreds of agreements including contracts, business buy sell, partnership, joint venture, employment, non-disclosure shareholders, operating, and other business agreements. He handles business disputes in all areas of law both as plaintiffs counsel and defense counsel, including litigation involving breach of contract, fraud, unfair business practices, debt collection, employment law, real estate, including landlord tenant, construction cases and probate litigation. He also does Estate Planning, discussing and working with clients to create a will and or trust that is appropriate for their family.
